The Powhatan Republican Mass Meeting was held Thursday night (August 11) at the Village Building. Tim Gresham is now the official Republican Candidate for Board of Supervisors in the 5th District of Powhatan County. Also nominated to continue service as Commonwealth’s Attorney was Bob Beasley. Other Board of Supervisor Candidates include: David Williams, 1st District; Jason Moore, 2nd District; Barry Hodge, 3rd District.
In his acceptance speech, Gresham thanked his wife (of 30 years) Julie and his two daughters for their love and support. He also said that with Jason, David and Barry, he hoped to bring some common sense conservative values to the County Board. He also thanked friends and neighbors who attended as a sign of support for the campaign, and called out Robin Shortridge and Dennis Stokes for being prepared to deliver comments!
