Providing a major boost to the Gresham Campaign, Powhatan’s representative to the U.S. House of Representatives, Congressman Randy Forbes, has thrown his support behind 5th District Board of Supervisors Candidate Tim Gresham.
“I have appreciated having the opportunity to work with Tim Gresham in representing Powhatan,” said Forbes in a statement released today.
“Tim will bring the same conservative, common sense principles that serve Powhatan so well in his capacity as Chairman of the School Board to the Powhatan Board of Supervisors,” added Forbes.
“I am proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with Congressman Forbes and am grateful for the confidence he has shown in me. The Congressman’s conservative values and his commitment to principal have inspired me for years,” said Gresham in response to Forbes’ endorsement.
“We are fortunate to have such a good businessman and family man willing to serve Powhatan County,” said Forbes.
Gresham currently serves as Chairman of the Powhatan School Board and is running as the Republican Nominee from the 5th District
The Gresham Campaign is gather a lot of momentum as the November 8 election nears.
