Saying Tim Gresham has “provided exemplary leadership as Chairman of the Powhatan School Board,” Delegate Lee Ware has announced he is supporting Tim Gresham for Powhatan Board of Supervisor in the 5th District.
“Tim’s hope of sharpening focus on the core responsibilities of local government is as timely as it is wise,” added Delegate Ware.
One of the most widely respected Members of the General Assembly, Delegate Ware was first elected in a special election in late 1998. He is unopposed this year as he seeks election to his 8th term in the Virginia House of Delegates.
“I am thrilled to have Lee Ware’s support,” Gresham said. “He has provided good solid conservative leadership in Richmond and has represented us very well,” added Gresham. “That Tim has run a positive campaign in seeking the seat now held by an honorable incumbent is all the more reason to support his quest,” added Ware.
“I am excited about the momentum that has been created by endorsements from Congressman Randy Forbes, the Virginia Sportsmen’s Alliance and now for Delegate Lee Ware. We are honored to be receiving so much support as we close in on November 8,” said Gresham. All five seats of the Powhatan County Board of Supervisors are up for election on November 8.
